Help answer the question about car auto insurance
Am I required to get rental car insurance if I don't have my own auto insurance?
I am planning to sell my car and cancel my auto insurance. If I want to rent a car, am I required to buy their rental car insurance, since I wouldn't have any other auto insurance otherwise?
If I use my Discover card to rent the car, Discover will provide me with a Collision Damage Waiver of up to $25,000. Would that count as insurance?

1. Get licensed to sell insurance
2. Get appointed with an insurance company to sell their policies
3. Sell auto insurance policies
4. Wait two months, for the insurance company to mail you your commission check.
Yes Yes and Yes! It's very important to have rental insurance. Let's say you park the car on the street, and come back and its side swipped. They are going to come after you for it But if you have insurance, it should cover it.
In NJ all registered vehicles MUST have insurance, so, you need to turn in your plates if you do not want to have insurance on the vehicle. Also, in most cities in NJ, you CANNOT have a vehicle without plates parked so that it is visible from the street. So, it would have to be kept in the garage or behind your house.
So, every time you need to use the car, you will have to reregister, then call you insurance to add the car to your policy, then when you are done, you need to turn in the plates, show the surrendered plate receipt to your insurance agent & then delete the car from the insurance again.
Is Mercury your insruance companyk, or theirs? Did your car work BEFORE the accident?
Pick up the car from the shop. Or abandon it. Those are your choices right now. ANd you didn't give enough info for any other advice.
The car affects the premium. New cars are worth more than cars several years old, so they cost more than older ones. High priced cars cost more because the potential loss is much greater than for that of lower priced cars. Sports cars cost more because they're supposed to have more accidents. I'm not sure that's true, but that's what the people who set the rates think. Also, cars that are stolen alot have high premiums. You also affect the premium. Do you have a good driving record? That lowers premiums somewhat. If you're middle aged or older, your premiums are usually lower because older people are considered safer drivers than young ones. I'm not sure that's true, but again, that's what the people who set the rates think!

Check with the bank that issued the credit card I know American Express and certain gold and platinum cards provide it for free. If not get full coverage because it is a new car and they are expensive.
I read lips. I think I saw him say, “I just shit myself”.
Health insurance. If you are not claiming it on your auto insurance. You could jsut tell your doc. that you were in a vehicle that had to make a quick stop and now your neck hurts. You don't have to give the doc. anymore details than you are comfortable letting him know. Whiplash can be a serious injury, and lead to other complications down the road if you don't get it looked at. Friend of mine still gets lower neck and back pain from her whiplash. She went through helath insurance and goes to see a massage therapist to keep herself well.
LOL!! I don't think there's any such thing! Sorry, you're best bet is to call around for quotes, or contact a local agent to do that for you.
Thank god for mother nature:)
Generally speaking, the only time the insurance company looks at your driving record is when they are about to renew your policy.
No, personal car insurance specifically doesn't cover that. It's EXCLUDED under every personal auto policy.
Sounds to me like you're operating illegally – used car dealerships need to also be licensed and bonded, in every state I've ever worked. And you need that insurance to get the license.
as long as the vehilce is insured in MOST states there is still coverage. They took the money in good faith and will normally cover it. It also depends if they are the owner of the vehicle or not. If they are not the owner then it's usually easier to have the insurance company pay. If they are the owner then they will do an investigation to see if there is coverage or not based on any violation of the contract.
If you have full coverage then have your insurance company take care of the damages, less your deductible, and they will go after the resonsible party along with your deductible for you.
This is why you pay them the big bucks. let them put all the money you've been paying them to work for you.
Good Luck!!
That tree saved that guys life!
Depending on how old you are, if you have a drivers license and your parents' permission, in some states you can legally drive their vehicle and be covered by their insurance, because the insurance covers the vehicle.
I know it is true in my state up to age 25 but I don't know for sure about Virginia.
If you have a valid drivers license and you are ticketed, you will receive the ticket, not your parents. But your parents' insurance will cover damages to the vehicle and to other property not belonging to you.
Don't bother asking your agent because it is in their best interest if you are insured individually from your parents.
your fake!!!!!!!!!!!!
its a fake … a comercial from argentina
I recommend an online insurance quote. It's free and generally hassle free. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Auto-Insurance.html
Good Luck.
You'll have to purchase the rental company's insurance. You can't even get insurance outside of that because you don't own a car to insure. Insurance through the rental car company is sufficient for police.
tree win!….if i were that guy, id water, hug, kiss that tree the rest of my life!!!!
he shit his pants, you know it
Did the driver survive?
Read your policy carefully. If it has language that specifically extends coverage to "non-owned vehicles" then you may be covered. It should also define "non-owned vehicles" since that definition varies from one policy to the next and one company to the next.
With some policies, coverage is only extended to "temporary replacement vehicles" meaning that if your car is out of service and you rent one while yours is being repaired, you're covered. This would NOT include a rental car while traveling on business or vacation.
A good policy will specifically explain when you are covered and when you are not. But if the policy doesn't specifically state that you're covered in a rental vehicle you should assume that you are NOT covered. That's the ONLY safe assumption that you can make.
Even if coverage is extended to rental vehicles, you need to make sure that ALL coverage is extended. Some policies ONLY extend liability coverage while others extend all coverage. Again, if your policy is silent, assume that NO coverage is extended.
Best bet: Look for a policy that extends to all vehicles operated by you or any named insured driver on the policy. Many companies offer policies with this coverage and it's cheap peace of mind.
Hint: If AIG's help desk cannot answer the question, it's time to find another insurance company!
you should be able to get insurance anyway. They go by vin and your info not by who owns it. Try this site to find the best auto car insurance

Since you don't have regular insurance, definitely get the rental insurance. If you did have your own car & insurance, the rental insurance is a complete waste of money since your own insurance would cover the rental.
